The giving of a Lovespoon is a Welsh tradition dating back as early as the 17th Century. Traditional Lovespoons were intricately carved from a single block of wood and gifted from the carver to a loved one as a symbol of their affection.
Over the years, Lovespoons have evolved and they are now presented not only as a token of love but as gifts to commemorate birthdays, christenings, engagements and anniversarys.
