Lion Rampant Gold Charm ‑ C151

A 'Lion Rampant' gold charm, the design was first used as a symbol of the Scottish kingdom by King Alexander II (1214 - 1249 AD).

Dimensions 17x11 mm
Material Gold
Stone or Enamel None
Emblem Lion Rampant

The item will be produced in 9ct Gold, although the image shows it in silver (which is also available). Please note that hallmarking of gold adds around 2-3 weeks to the production time.

A 'Lion Rampant' gold charm.

This item is part of the Lion Rampant collection - inspired by the Royal Arms of the Kings of Scotland since the days of Allexander II (1214 - 1249 AD), the treasured Lion still retains its individual status as a sovereign coat of arms which is captured in our classic collection of jewellery.

This charm attaches to a charm bracelet with a small ring. The ring has a small slit in it so that it can be opened and closed. This means that the charm can easily be added to most link style charm bracelets or necklace chains.

Ortak Jewellery is handcrafted on the beautiful Scottish island of Orkney. For more information, have a look at our 'About Ortak Jewellery' article below.

About Ortak Jewellery

Ortak Jewellery logo

Ortak was the first of the dozen or so fine jewellery firms for which the Orkney Islands are now renowned. In fact many of these newer competitors (in truth, a friendly rivalry) have been set up by ex-Ortak employees. Ortak Jewellery's success is based upon its early principles which are still held today - innovative design, caring craftsmanship, impeccable quality and real value for money. The traditional skills of the silversmith, handed down over decades, are still in use in their state of the art workshops. The manufacturing base remains in the island's capital, the Royal and Ancient Burgh of Kirkwall, producing beautiful jewellery which is sold and admired worldwide.
